Halo recently had one of its first of many projects to come for the University of Oregon. We were hired by the U of O risk management team to get aerial footage of Hayward Field for risk assessment purposes for the 2016 Track and Field Olympic Trials.
The University needed our expertise and aerial footage of the whole grounds in order to map everything using GIS to use for future venues. They will also use the footage to map out the area in case of a future natural disaster, as it can become the city hub for hospital, shelter, food and water.
We had to pass a bomb sniffing dog inspection, metal detectors and were given day passes to get in. We were given a nice air conditioned trailer to set up our laptop and equipment, too. It was a very successful day and we delivered exactly what the U of O needed! Check out the photos and aerial images from the job!
